Printing in Excel v.X in black and white

We previously reported that the black and white printing function in Excel v.X became limited after the software's first service release. We've since received two straightforward workarounds. Larry MacDonald suggests creating a macro that would:

1. Open the file
2. Select all
3. Change font to black
4. Print
5. Close (without saving)

MacFixit reader Yudit says "I keep the latest version of Office v.X on my main computer, and I have the original version on my external FireWire HD, which is always on. When I need to print a file affected by the bug, I simply open it in the original version of the application in question."
