OS X Utilities Updates: Language Support; OS X Server; Synk; HotApp; more

Language Support updates Software Update is showing Language Support updates for Brazilian, Danish, Finnish, and more. They install the additional fonts and resources needed to use Mac OS X in the given language.

Pacifist 1.0b4.1 is another update to this utility that allows you to extract individual files out of .pkg installer packages, similar to the way the old TomeViewer let you open Tome files under Mac OS 9. It fixes a couple of bugs.

Apple Mac OS X Server 10.1.2 is the 10.1.2 update to the Server version of Mac OS X. The update delivers improved reliability and performance of Apple file services, Apache web and Mail services under heavy load. It includes security fixes for FTP and the BSD Line Printer Daemon. Enhancements have also been made to improve server administration, SMB printer sharing, WINS registration and system clock accuracy.

Synk X 4.0p5 is the latest version of this backup and synchronization utility. The update works around a bug in OS X 10.1.2 that reports modification times consistently wrong by a number of seconds.

HotApp 1.1 lets you assign any hot key to activate/run an OS X application. This version adds: copy/paste dynamic text related to the date; key remapping (useful for PowerBook and iBook).

MediaWrapper X 2.1 lets you scan a removable disk, and print out the contents on a wrapper that you can insert into the disk case.
