Olives with an extra touch
The Olivator lets you add a tough of your own to olives, perfect for appetizers.
Stuffed olives can make for a treat, provided you're prepared to sit and stuff them. The Olivator makes the process go much faster, though. With a press of the button on one end of the Olivator, you can stuff an olive with pimento, onion, jalapeno, garlic, cheese, or just about anything else. The olive does have to be pitted, but the Olivator cores the perfect size and shape of stuffing for your olives. Of course, you don't have to limit yourself to olives. The Olivator can just as easily stuff figs, cherries, strawberries, or any other soft fruit or vegetable. Think tangy cheeses or sweet chocolate and you'll have a starting point for all the tasty treats you can make. And don't stick to appetizers; what about the cocktails you can make with specially stuffed olives?
The Olivator is constructed of stainless steel with a padded grip that will help you control the process. It can go through the dishwasher, but the Olivator should not be used for pitting olives. There are plenty of olive pitters out there, though, so it's just a matter of paring the Olivator with one, though it would be nice if a future model of the Olivator made good the lack. The Olivator is priced at $20.
