Toast Character Limitation Chas Farry offers a simple solution to the previously reported problem where discs burned in the ISO 9660 format with more than 32 characters in the filename under Toast were unrecognizable by Mac OS X 10.2.x:

"I have discovered that in toast ISO 9660 if I go to settings and set naming to 'Joliet' more that 32 characters can be displayed correctly under OSX."

Another Casio 3000 Digital Camera Workaround Gerard Jonker notes that using Apple's Disk Copy may enable access to Casio 3000-series digital camera storage facilities, which are unrecognizable under Mac OS X 10.2.x.:

"I found the following workaround for the problems with my Casio QV 3000EX and Mac OS X10.2. Disk Copy is still recognizing the 128 Mb CompactFlash in my QV 3000EX, after making a disk image with it I can import the pictures on the normal way in iPhoto or other applications from that image."

Office Security Update Microsoft has released Microsoft Office v.X 10.1.1, which addresses a security vulnerability that can enable an attacker who had a valid security certificate to issue an invalid subordinate certificate that would appear to be valid. Microsoft's documentation reads

"This update also addresses a vulnerability in Word's field codes that could allow an attacker to maliciously use field codes and external updates to steal information from your computer without your knowledge."
