Odds and Ends: Safari and Discover; Knowledge Base updates
Safari and Discover In the seemingly never-ending tug-of-war between Safari and financial websites, the Discover Card site appears to have recently been changed, causing compatibility problems. Reader Bob Lord writes:
"It appears that Discover Card has made some changes to it?s website that now won?t me log in with Safari. Last night I was logged into my account on Discover Card?s website getting ready to pay my bill. I was logged out because of inactivity, (I got side tracked), when I logged back on I was told that the site was unavailable because of system maintaince please try back later. This morning I tried to log back on to pay my bill, but I was pointed to an error page telling me that I might need to update my web browser software. I went back with Internet explorer and was able to log in and pay my bill with no problems."
