Conflict Catcher conflict? Takuo Yasuda writes: "After upgrading to Mac OS X 10.0.2, Conflict Catcher 8.0.8 no longer recognized that it was booting into the Classic environment and therefore failed to switch to a set (called 'Mac OS X Classic' in my case) which it was supposed to switch to when starting into the Classic environment. The preference was still set correctly (e.g., 'Mac OS X Classic' was the set that it was supposed to use when booting into the Classic environment)."
OS X version of Now Up-to-Date & Contact coming Matthew Culmore spoke with Power On Software, who told him that the OS X native version of Now Up-to-Date & Contact will ship gold in July, will be called 4.1 and will come with the 4.0 version that runs on 9, which will allow easier moving between 9 and X.
SoftRAID and OS X: working OK? Regarding our previous report of a SoftRAID conflict in OS X, Jerry Tompkins replies: " I've noted no such problem after downloading and applying the beta firmware upgrade for my Initio Miles2 SCSI card. Both of the Seagate Barracuda (7200 RPM) drives are formatted with SoftRAID and, thanks to the Initio beta firmware upgrade, appear on the Mac OS X desktop and function with no problems. I've formatted them individually and also as Raid 0 with no problems with Mac OS X."
