Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 5.0.2 Update is out. It has numerous fixes, including fixing "a startup problem caused by setting custom SafeZones on removable media."

CD-ROM glitch? Steve Solomon writes: "After upgrading to version 5.0.2 of NAV Mac, when I put my Warcraft II CD in the CD ROM drive, it attempted to play a garbled soundtrack. This is not meant to be an audio CD and is not recognized as such by the Apple CD player. The only way to get it to stop was to double-click on the CD and open it up. It did not exhibit this behavior before upgrading. QuickTime was not set to Auto-Play anything." Downgrading to 5.0.1 eliminated the problem. Steve also had a minor glitch downloading email from AOL that similarly disappeared when he reverted to NAV 5.0.1.

Update: Scott Boettcher writes: "Disable the 'Treat CDs as floppies' option. The problem should go away." However, Steve replies that he did not have this option enabled.
