Netscape security glitch

CNET staff
A ComputerWorld article notes that Netscape 4.5 browsers have a security risk that could allow people to see information that you typed into a secure Web page, if they have access to your computer - even if the page is no longer the active page. The problem is that the contents of the page may be preserved in Netscape's memory cache and be recalled when you return to the page via the Back button. If things are working properly, this should result in a blank form. But under certain circumstances, it does not. The work-around is to quit Netscape before leaving your computer unattended.
