Maytag offers built-in dishwasher with JetClean

This Energy Star-rated dishwasher from Maytag is a built-in model that fits a standard 24-inch opening. Featuring a white-on-white design that would perfectly match any kitchen design, the door style is seamless and frameless so as to also blend in with any existing cabinetry. The controls are located front and center and use a seven-button smooth touch panel.

There are a multitude of washing options supplied by the five-level, seven-tier JetClean II wash system. Normal, heavy, and light wash options exist along with a quick-rinse-only selection. Pots and pans can be cleaned using the Toughscrub option. Sensor washing is supplied by Precision Clean variable turbidity and options exist for drying with or without heat. The filter is self-cleaning and the dishwasher does have the ability for food disposal. A noise reduction system is provided by the Quiet Series 300 package.

Reviews are mixed for this dishwasher. At Sears.com, detractors mostly seemed to be unhappy regarding the unit's washing efficiency. While that may be, of course, the main way that dishwasher performance can be rated, complaints against it are tempered with additional reviewers happy with the washing power. It's probably safe to say that individual results will vary dependent upon size of load and wash cycle chosen. Regardless of washing experience, most reviewers agreed that the unit did run exceptionally smooth and quiet and were pleased with the overall large capacity.
