MacDrive 98 does not support HFS Plus

MacDrive 98 is a new utility that allows Windows machines to mount Mac formatted disks (we first mentioned it as part of our Macworld Expo coverage earlier this month). Chad Margetts reports that a potential problems with MacDrive is that it does not recognize HFS Plus formatted disks.

Media4 Productions tech support told him that "a decision has not yet been made as to whether future releases of MacDrive 98 will support HFS Plus. If you are aware of other users or potential users of MacDrive 98 who would benefit from HFS Plus support, please encourage them to contact Media4 Productions."
