MacBook Air gets elemental with MacBook Earth, Water, Fire

How can Apple possibly top the super-thin MacBook Air? Elemental, my dear reader: with the MacBook Earth, Water and Fire, of course.

The MacBook Air is one of the thinnest and lightest laptops we've ever seen, so it makes sense that it would inspire a selection of laptops that break records in their own area. Conceived by Syfy's gadget site Dvice, the Earth, Water and Fire are just concepts right now, but we can't wait to see them in action.

The Earth is a green laptop -- literally: it's covered in grass on a biodegradable clay chassis. And it's eco-friendly, too, as it's wind-powered and solar-fuelled and boasts a low-power phosphorescent screen. When it's time to upgrade, you can bury your biodegradable Earth -- perhaps in a walled garden.

The MacBook Water wets our appetite. Splash the bottled iFluid onto any flat surface and it instantly forms the shape of a keyboard and monitor. When you're done simply mop up and wring the liquid back into the bottle; just be careful not to wipe the hard drive.

Finally, there's the super-fast MacBook Fire, so fast that the chips have actually burst into flame. Still no Flash, though.

The Fire comes with asbestos gloves, which you might want to keep on your hands when you change the channel on your flammable Sony Bravia TV.
