Mac OS X Utilities: Classic Menu; NoteIt

CNET staff
Classic Menu 2.0 for Mac OS X is out. It brings the entire Mac OS menubar back to Mac OS X. It provides both an Apple menu on the left of the menu bar and a Process menu on the right. These menus are available within all programs while the Classic Menu application is running. In this update, the Apple menu also contains icons and multiple dynamic sub-menus to show folder contents up to 5 levels deep. [Note: you need Mac OS X DP4 to use this; DP4 is not publicly available.] NoteIt 0.3b for Mac OS X "is a replacement for the classic NotePad. With a new simplified interface, it lets you visualize your notes so you always have access to all of them."
