Mac OS X 10.0.3: Duplicate listings in Connect to Server
Mac OS X 10.0.3: Duplicate listings in Connect to Server
Peter Trinder reports that, after updating to Mac OS X 10.0.3, when selecting the Connect to Server option from the Finder's Go menu, volumes are typically listed 4 times.
We are now having a similar problem ourselves. When we just tried it again this morning, the computer running Mac OS X listed itself as a server 6 times - each with a different afp IP address! Previously, it had never listed itself as a potential server even once. In addition, other computers that the Mac could connect to were not listed (although we could connect to them via typing the IP address). Of course, we have had a long history of network problems with this particular setup. We will test with another Mac soon. However, we never had this duplicate server listing problem before using 10.0.3.
