A good excuse to have an all-day cookout. Sur La Table

Hopefully you have been enjoying the summer with quite a few cookouts. Since everybody loves a backyard party centered on food, chances are you have. Nothing brings people together quite like food does. Sometimes, you hope that the party never ends. And other times, you just want to have something a little different. If you've had your fill of hot dogs and hamburgers this grilling season, perhaps it's time to host your own party and stray away from the ordinary.

Whether you just want to switch it up a bit, or you just crave variety, the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker provides for an excellent counterpoint to the standard food in a bun. The simple design complements the iconic Weber grills that are being put to so much good use this summer. However, this outdoor cooker is meant for slow-cooking whole fish, roasts, hams, turkeys, and chickens.

Available in either a small or large size, the smoker offers the choice between an 18.5-inch cooking area or a 22.5-inch cooking area. An included water pan allows for the addition of steam to the cooking process, ensuring that meats don't dry out while being smoked. A hinged steel door allows for easy access to the charcoal chamber and water pan, while four aluminum vents on the bottom of the cooker give users even more control. The porcelain-enameled cooker has a built-in thermometer on top, so no matter what you decide to cook, you can monitor it to get the exact results you want. Perfect for hanging out in the back yard all day.
