Kodak camera is first to have color OLED Kodak will ship the first camera with an OLED screen on a 3 megapixel camera priced at $399. The screens emit light directly and, unlike conventional liquid crystal displays (LCDs), do not require a backlight that can add an extra millimetre or two of depth. Active-matrix OLED screens also offer a wider viewing angle than LCDs, so they can be seen clearly from the side. $ 30-a-month "wireless broadband" T-Mobile USA and Intel Corporation today announced an agreement to launch a joint marketing campaign to promote T-Mobile's WiFi (802.11) high-speed wireless Internet service with more than 2,100 locations across the country. For $29.99 a month, customers get unlimited access, with an annual agreement, to the T-Mobile HotSpot service at more than 2,100 locations nationwide including Starbucks coffee houses, national and regional airports and American Airlines Admirals clubs. Palm lowers guidance Palm has announced that its third-quarter fiscal 2003 results will be below the guidance given on its second-quarter results conference call in December. Revenues now are expected to be between $205 - $210 million vs. previous guidance of $230 - $250 million. HP offers smallest all-in-one scanner HP has announced the PSC 1210, which claims to be the smallest flatbed all-in-one, combining photo-quality color printing, scanning and copying. The device has print speeds of up to 12 pages per minute (ppm) in black and up to 10 ppm in color. The estimated U.S. retail price is US $ 149. More.
