Overwrite warning It should be noted that exporting a Web site folder in iWeb named "Documents" to the /Library/Web Sever/ folder will not result in a mere addition of appropriate web page documents to this location, a complete re-write of the "Documents" folder, as noted by MacFixIt reader Rusty Myers who writes:

"I run a web server off my mac, /Library/Web Sever/Documents/ . I have set up a simple website with Dreamweaver, but I wanted to include some of iWeb's pages in it. So i decided to recreate my current web site in iWeb, save for a few archive sites that I just wanted to link to. Everything went great in iWeb, I would export it to the desktop, drag it into the Documents folder and it would be published. I noticed that the exported folder was the same name as the Site in iWeb. I had an idea...

"We I got cocky and decide to change the name to 'Documents.' I thought that I could just export to the Web Server folder and have it place all the updates into the Documents folder. It didn't, it replaced the entire Documents folders, with all my archived sites, with a new Documents folder only containing the iWeb site.

"So a warning to all new iWeb users, Don't overwrite your entire web folder unless you need nothing in it."
