iTunes 7.0.1 (#5): Garbled interface text when un-hiding
Several users have reported an issue where the interface text in iTunes 7.0.1 becomes garbled when re-activating iTunes from a hidden state.
Below is an image of the issue:
MacFixIt reader Alexander Norberg writes:
"The titles of the columns (Name, Time, Artist, Genre) in iTunes 7.0.1 get's deformed/garbled and is not readable anymore. This happens after a while (few hours) or sometimes directly after returning iTunes from hidden and to fix this I must restart iTunes. This problem first occurred for me with iTunes 7.0."
In some cases, the problem can be solved by clearing font caches with a utility like Font Finagler.
