What makes a camera waterproof?
I was just thinking that the major reason that the 1D, D2X/D3X, 5D do well with moisture is that they don't have a pop-up flash. If the 40D didn't have a pop-up flash would it be comparable with the 5D's weather proofing. That's my question. This sort of thing interests me because I plan on taking the 40D into harsher than normal conditions when I go climbing, hiking, etc. Thanks again for your time!
