iHub port activation glitch resolved
Macally Tech Support told Gary Hudson that the iHub feature - wherein ports do not go live until they are connected to a device - apparently conflicts with the needs of certain USB devices. They attributed the problem to a lack of standardization by manufacturers of USB devices. In any case, Macally has released a new iHub model whose ports are always active. They agreed to replace Gary's iHub with the newer one.
