iDVD '08 (#4): Fix for some crashes (particularly crash on launch)

If your copy of iDVD '08 is crashing persistently on launch (or at other times during routine operation), try navigating to the directory ~/Library/Preferences and deleting the following file (drag it to the Trash):

Re-launch iDVD '08 and check for persistence of the issue.
