Dip is delicious. Deni

I like parties. Maybe not so much hosting them, but going to them. At first, the reason for party-hosting-avoidance may seem obvious, as nobody enjoys the day after clean up, but there is more to it than that. I like going to parties to check out the spread.

I am always appreciative of the party treats as I table graze. With an endless assortment of snackable treats out there, the combinations can be truly overwhelming (deliciously overwhelming, that is). As I make my way past the obligatory crackers and occasional veggie, I keep my eye open for the one thing that I know I can count on: the dip.

For those that prefer a hot dip, here is the Heated Chip and Dip Tray from Deni. The electric party platter features a large (presumably party-size) stoneware bowl surrounded by a plastic tray for holding delicious morsels waiting to be dipped. The bowl rests upon a removable heating base, while the power switch is integrated into the power cord.

Every party has a dip. Whether it is cheesy or mayonnaise-based, it will be there. The only question seems to be whether the host prefers spinach, artichoke, or onion. That and if there will be any leftovers the next day. If so, it will be OK; the stoneware bowl is microwave safe for next day hangover treats.
