CNET giveaway: Wonder Workshop Holiday Pack
Looking for a fun, educational gift for your young child? This week's robot giveaway will surely bring a smile to their face. Entries can be submitted until October 27, 11:59 p.m. PT.
Parents, do you remember when your "robot friend" was a cardboard box in your front yard? Well, times have definitely changed, and now your child can befriend Dash, a superfun, real-life robot companion from Wonder Workshop. This week, one lucky parent will receive Wonder Workshop's Holiday Pack, which includes Dash and the Launcher snap-on accessory.
Dash is a voice-responsive, interactive robot that moves around, dances and even sings. Dash was designed for children of all ages -- you can download different Dash apps for every age group, which will change how Dash behaves and plays with your child. The apps are primarily targeted at teaching children the basics of coding through drawing, puzzles and music.
Wonder Workshop also sells a variety of attachable accessories that will allow Dash to do new things. Our giveaway includes the Launcher, a (child-safe) projectile firing machine.
