<b>Mac OS 8.1 and NetDoubler conflict is likely

Mike Trakas reports that after updating to Mac OS 8.1, he got a "disk error" when trying to copy files over his network, with NetDoubler enabled on his Mac OS 8.1 machine. Turning it off works around the problem. When he contacted Asanate about this, he received the following reply:

"We are aware that there are some concerns with the new OS 8.1 and NetDoubler 1.5. We are currently testing NetDoubler with OS 8.1 and OT 1.3."
