ATI driver update needed for Diablo II

CNET staff
Anton Young found that he could not select the 3D acceleration option in Diablo II, even though his blue-and-white G3 had OpenGL software installed. He contacted Blizzard Entertainment about this and they replied: An ATI driver update is required for PCI versions of ATI graphics cards based on the RAGE 128 chipset. ATI is aware of the issue and they should have an update ready in the near future. The driver problem will prevent Diablo II from recognizing OpenGL or RAVE on PCI RAGE 128 cards. Until a driver update is available, we recommend you run Diablo II in software mode.
