AppleWorks/Eudora conflict fixed in upcoming version of Eudora

Over the past week we've been covering a problem where using an AppleWorks spreadsheet at the same time as Eudora, and then closing AppleWorks, could result in Eudora not being able to check for new mail. Yesterday we posted a technical explanation of the cause of this issue. We've since received a report that the issue has been fixed in the latest alpha (pre-beta) version of the next version of Eudora.
