Apple System Profiler Crashes

We have unconfirmed, but corroborating reports of Apple System Profiler crashes on a vareity of system configurations running Mac OS X 10.2.x. Ken Beck writes:

"Apple System Profiler has been quitting unexpectedly in 10.2.1 and 10.2.2. For me, it gets to the point of displaying the first tab of information, then immediately quits. Various techniques short of a reinstall have failed to address the problem. Unsuccessful attempted fixes include First Aid repair volume, repair permissions, creating a new user, Safe Boot, Jaguar Cache Cleaner light or deep cleaning, and reinstalling ASP with Pacifist."
