Apple releases Security Update 2004-02-23

Apple has released Security Update 2004-02-23 via Software Update.

According to its description, the new release includes refinements for the following components:

  • DiskArbitration
  • IPSec
  • Point-to-Point-Protocol
  • tcpdump

This update appears for both Mac OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar) and Mac OS X 10.3.x (Panther) systems.

Initial reports indicate smooth installation. Remember to repair permissions using the Apple Disk Utility (located in Applications>Utilities by default) after applying this update.
