Apple 17 inch Studio Display glitch?

Tom Porett reports that, with his new 17" Apple Studio Display attached to his G3/BW, "I have frequently occurring vertical lines on the monitor. A suggestion posted in Apple's Discussion Boards mentioned lightly rapping on the side of the monitor and indeed this works, but the same action is required frequently. In addition, I have noticed a jitter at resolution settings at the 75MHz scan rate but not at the 85MHz." [This does not seem like something that the new AppleVision software will address.]
