Amazon's e-reader, the Kindle series, has been the leader in its sector for years now, and with good reason. The hardware is excellent, and with the vast library of books available through the Kindle store and Kindle Unlimited, you'll always find the book you want. Amazon has marked down Kindle e-reader devices for the entire Prime Day event, with some models discounted by up to 38%. If you've been holding off picking one up, time is running out, so make your move.

There are options for every budget, with prices starting as low as $65. We've highlighted a few of the best deals below, but be sure to check out the entire sale selection of Kindle e-readers at Amazon.

Kindle Paperwhite (16GB): $95

Save $55

The Kindle Paperwhite is our pick for best all-around ebook reader for 2023. It features adjustable warm light settings, a longer battery life that can last for weeks and it's completely waterproof so you can read by the pool, at the beach, or in the bath. And it has a 6.8-inch glare-free display that's easy to read, even in sunlight.

The $95 is for the 16GB version though you can get the 8GB version for $90. The $5 savings isn't really worth it though. Better to have the extra 8GB space.

Amazon Kindle (2022): $65

The latest Kindle features a much sharper resolution than previous years, making it much easier to read, especially if you like small fonts. While the Kindle Paperwhite wins our best e-reader prize, it's hard not to recommend Amazon's latest entry, especially at this Prime Day price.
