Handheld massage guns are becoming increasingly popular among those who work out intensely at home or in the gym. They help you relieve tension in tight muscle groups without having to go to a masseuse -- and you can literally take them anywhere.

You don't have to drop loads of money to get a good massage gun either. Right now, the Therabody Theragun Elite handheld percussive massage gun, which is typically $400, is just $299 at Best Buy. This deal is available only for Best Buy members, and it's about $80 less than the unit is currently selling at Amazon

If you don't have an account, you can create one for free and get access to the deal. (Note that this is a standard "My Best Buy" membership, not the paid Best Buy Totaltech tier.)

The Theragun Elite sits just under the high-end Theragun Pro in the company's current massage gun lineup. It's currently CNET's top-rated massage gun, delivering up to 40 pounds of pressure from five built-in speeds with a 120-minute battery life between charges. CNET's Giselle Castro-Sloboda said that "beginners and well-established athletes will get good use from the Elite to break down knots and eliminate sore muscles," though she wished the unit was a bit quieter during operation.
