Marvel's most messed-up vigilantes meet in the full-length trailer for the upcoming Netflix series "The Defenders."

"The Defenders" continues the story where previous Marvel series "Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage" "Daredevil" season 2 and "Iron Fist" left off.

The new trailer, posted Wednesday, shows a bloodied Jessica Jones in a police interrogation room, where she meets her new lawyer -- Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil.

From there, the trailer shows Luke Cage smacking down Iron Fist and then making fun of his superhero name. Of course it takes Rosario Dawson's voice-of-reason character, Claire Temple, to remind them that they are on the same side.

It's up to the four of them to realize that they're stronger together than apart when they need to save New York City from destruction.

Marvel's "The Defenders" stars Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Additional cast members include Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra, Elodie Yung as Elektra, Scott Glenn as Stick, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.

"The Defenders" debuts on Netflix on August 18.
