When Temple Run 2 arrived for iOS just last week, it was downloaded a staggering 20 million times in just four days, as people desperately tried to outpace skull-faced ape creatures hell-bent on revenge.

Now, it's Android's turn, with the fast-faced, easy-to-learn-difficult-to-master game being available for free on Google Play.

The model allows for in-app purchases of upgrade for your character, but you can still just happily play the free version if you wish.

If you need more convincing, the launch trailer is below.
