Black Friday-style deals are back for Xbox One and PS4

Sony's PlayStation 4 Slim and Microsoft's Xbox One S game consoles are once again $50 off for a limited time.

Today only, Microsoft is selling Xbox One S bundles for $50 off with 2 free games thrown in.

If you've got your eye on a game console this holiday season, today's a good day to buy one: Sony's PlayStation 4 Slim and Microsoft's Xbox One S have returned to their lowest prices of the year and some retailers are throwing in extras to enhance the deals further.

Here's a look at the current best deals:

  • PS4 Slim 500GB Uncharted 4 Bundle at Best Buy, Walmart, B&H Photo and Amazon for $250, regularly $300. GameStop has the same deal but throws in a $25 GameStop or Visa gift card.
  • Today only Newegg.com has the 500GB PlayStation 4 Slim Uncharted 4 Console Bundle on sale for $229.99 if you use the promo code VCOGREEN16, which gives you $20 off. If you then do VISA Checkout you get an additional $20 off, bringing the price down to $209.99. (You can sign up for Visa Checkout with any credit card).
  • As part of its 12 Days of Deals sale, the Microsoft Store has various XBox One S bundles on sale for $50 off (500GB bundles are $250 while 1TB bundles are $300). Bundle options include Minecraft, Gears of War, FIFA 17 and Battlefield. As an added bonus, Microsoft's also throwing in two free extra games. The only caveat is that the games value cannot exceed $39.99 (each game has to cost less than $40).

Note that Xbox One S consoles will be on sale through December 24 for $50 off everywhere (including Amazon), so look for deals that have added bonuses.
