Gates on portable console gaming: Let Sony worry about it

Bill Gates says he's fine letting Sony take the market lead with its PlayStation Portable while Microsoft focuses on the TV-based console.

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, in an interview Monday night with CNET News.com, said his company doesn't have plans for a "dedicated product" in the growing portable console market.

"Speaking from Microsoft broadly, we like that Sony is off worrying about the PSP (PlayStation Portable) and thinking about that while we are worried about the TV-based console, the next generation of Xbox that we are moving forward on. Click here for the full interview.
