Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Starkiller is back, he's again betrayed by Darth Vader and is looking for some sweet, sweet revenge. All of this unsettling discord seems to have turned his lightsabers from red to blue, signalling either a shift in his allegiances, or a bad bout of the flu. The trailer also hints at something Palpatine should have thought about at the beginning of the clones war: an army of cloned Jedi rather than hordes of bumbling bounty hunters.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Bioware's epic MMORPG looks to be shaping up nicely, though it was the new cinematic trailer that really caught our eyes. This CGI concept shows Star Wars as we all hoped it would be in the movie prequels and as we can only hope to see one day in a feature-length motion picture. Rebel troopers with laser cannons that fire huge explosive bolts, swarms of Sith Jedi being blown to smithereens, furious hand-to-hand combat and a stunning lightsaber battle to top it all off. George Lucas, take note.
Untitled Star Wars Kinect project
LucasArts was one of the few developers on hand after the Microsoft Kinect announcement, ready to show off an as-yet untitled Star Wars tie-in. The teaser shows a third-person perspective of an unrecognisable Jedi (they all look the same, right?) saber-slicing and force-pushing the bejeebus out of a battalion of Stormtroopers. LucasArts apparently aims to have this one out in 2011.
