DETROIT -- BorgWarner Inc. says it will supply its DualTronic transmission control system to Fiat Powertrain Technologies' first dry dual-clutch transmission. The transmission is scheduled to launch late this year on the Alfa Romeo MiTo.
BorgWarner developed the control system at its Monaco plant in partnership with Magneti Marelli Holding S.p.A.
BorgWarner, of suburban Detroit, makes transmission components and assemblies, engine air management systems, and all-wheel- and four-wheel-drive systems.
