Entry-level Concord II features Android 4.3, dual-core processor, and 4-inch display
Available today on T-Mobile and on May 19 for MetroPCS, the entry-level Concord II sports a 4-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera, and Android 4.3.
The Concord II, ZTE's latest Android device, is available today for T-Mobile customers starting at $0 down. It will then roll out to MetroPCS prepaid customers on May 19 for $40.
Sporting a 4-inch TFT display (with 480x800-pixel resolution) and a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, the handset's specs are distinctly entry-level. However, it is equipped with better hardware than its 2012 predecessor , which had just a 3.5-inch display and an 832MHz processor.
In addition, the phone is powered by a 1,820mAh battery that has a reported talk time of six hours. For casual photographers, the Concord II features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, which can record up to 720p video. Keep in mind though, the device does not have a front-facing shooter.
As for its capacity, the handset has 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and support for up to 32GB of expandable memory. Though it doesn't run the latest Android OS, it features 4.3 Jelly Bean and will come preloaded with several signature Google apps.
