Sound bars are a great way to improve on your TV's built-in audio, but they're typically made for TVs on the larger side. If you've got a TV that's 42 inches or less, you'll often end up with a sound bar that dominates your TV.

Vizio's looking to offer a better match for those small screen sizes, adding three more sound bars to its line that are specifically designed to fit smaller TVs. There's a 29-inch model (S2920W) that matches the width of 32-inch TVs, and two 38-inch models (S3820W and S3821w) that pair perfectly with 42-inch TVs.

Vizio's Integrated Deep Bass likely won't sound as good a true subwoofer, but it might provide enough low-end sound for smaller rooms. Vizio

The S3821w is a 2.1-channel system with a wireless subwoofer, while the other two systems lack a separate subwoofer, instead relying on integrated "deep bass modules" to provide the low end. All three sound bars feature built-in Bluetooth, which makes it easy to wirelessly stream music from nearly every smartphone and tablet. They also support for DTS TruVolume and DTS TruSurround; TruVolume smooths out drastic volume spikes, with TruSurround provides a virtual surround experience from the sound bar.

The styling on all three systems is reminiscent of Vizio's excellent 5.1 sound bar, the S4251w-B4. Note that while the included remote on the new systems looks similar to the S4251w-B4's clicker, it doesn't appear to have the nifty integrated display.

All three systems are set to be released in late August and the pricing is aggressive: $80 for the S2920w, $120 for the S3820w, and $180 for the S3821w.
