Sonos Connect

The Sonos Connect is the non-amplified base station product in Sonos's wireless hi-fi line-up. It performs identically to a Sonos Play:3, but--unlike that model's built-in speakers--the Sonos Connect needs to be connected to an amplifier, AV receiver, or powered speaker system.

The Sonos Connect includes analog and digital (coaxial and optical) outputs, as well as analog inputs (for passthrough connections from other audio sources, such as a CD player). As with other Sonos products, it can be controlled on an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android phone, or many Android tablets (including the Kindle Fire) by downloading a free app.
