In turn, the company has tweaked its ruggedized case for the Nano to accompany the change. Now, 2G Nano owners can enjoy the same all-encompassing protection for their players. This kind of assurance will set you back $39.95--not too bad for this ultimate (if bulky) protection.
Despite its cutesy animal name, the OtterBox is quite capable of protecting your Nano from anything you can throw at it. As a matter of fact, you can even throw the player itself while it's ensconced in this hard-core case. The OtterBox consists of a hard plastic clear casing, a removable belt clip, and a rather lovely playthrough membrane that allows you to easily control the player. The standard headphone jack will take any headphones, but if you want to use the OtterBox in the water, you'll need H2O Audio's waterproof headphones (sold separately).
