The Mobile Edge Premium Messenger lets you carry a laptop more comfortably than you could with a briefcase, but it looks a bit more professional than a backpack. The Messenger features a shock-protected laptop compartment for 15-inch, wide-screen notebooks and smaller. The Premium Messenger's main compartment is quite small; don't expect to fit much more than a pad of paper and a few file folders in it, even when expanded. The bag's magnetically secured flap also covers a utility area, with spots for pens, business cards, cables, and a unique pocket designed to ensure that your cell phone doesn't get reception, which Mobile Edge says "protects wireless devices from data theft, spam and viruses." Needless to say, that last pocket is of dubious utility. The Premium Messenger is made of ballistic nylon and has an adjustable, rubber shoulder pad, which both helps to distribute weight and keeps the bag in place. The bag also comes with a lifetime warranty.
