Though smartphones are all the rage right now, some mobile consumers are more keen on owning a simple flip phone instead. Enter the LG Exalt, a no-muss, no-fuss flip phone available for $79.99 on Verizon after users sign a two-year contract.

The phone features an all-black construction, alphanumeric buttons, and data connectivity for e-mail and Web browsing.

On the outside of the handset is a small external LED display. In addition, the device houses a 3-inch WQVGA display that has a 400x260-pixel resolution. Below the screen is a keypad that includes four navigational buttons, and shortcuts to launch the alarm and speaker.

If you want to snap some quick photos, the phone offers a 2-megapixel camera. Aside from digital zooming and some rudimentary editing effects, the camera can record video as well.

The Exalt also features up to 32GB of expandable memory via a microSD card, 1X network speeds, and Bluetooth 3.0.

It is powered by a 900mAh battery, which has a reported usage time of up to 5.5 hours and a standby time of nearly 18 days. Though it may not sound like much, this should give you enough power to hum along throughout the day.
