LAS VEGAS -- LG has announced the next-in-line for its LCD throne for 2014, the LB6500, which comes with most of the company’s high-end features.

The LB6500 will come in four sizes: 47-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 60-inch.

The TV is a step down from the flagship LB7100 and loses that model's local dimming and cuts the motion compensation back from 240Hz to 120Hz.

The television features 120Hz motion compensation, passive 3D playback, and a number of new sound connectivity options. These include Bluetooth (to a soundbar) and Private Sound Mode which enables you to listen to the TV via a smartphone.

The TV will feature the company's new WebOS smart TV platform, which promises quick switching between streaming apps and cable.

The LB6500 features an upgraded Motion Remote, which now includes a much-needed Input button.
