Denon AVR-1905
The AVR-1905 ($499 list) is the midlevel 7.1-channel A/V receiver in Denon's 2004 lineup. It's similar to the higher-end AVR-2805 but with less power (80 watts x 7 channels) and fewer features (no auto-setup calibration, no room equalization, no detachable power cord and a nonbacklit remote). The AVR-1905 has less robust connectivity options (one coaxial digital input, four optical digital inputs, one optical output, eight analog stereo inputs, no phono input, five composite-video inputs, five S-Video inputs, and a six-channel external analog input).
