Canon Pixma iP6220D

A modest version of the iP6000D.

Lori Grunin Senior Editor / Advice
I've been reviewing hardware and software, devising testing methodology and handed out buying advice for what seems like forever; I'm currently absorbed by computers and gaming hardware, but previously spent many years concentrating on cameras. I've also volunteered with a cat rescue for over 15 years doing adoptions, designing marketing materials, managing volunteers and, of course, photographing cats.

Canon Pixma iP6220D
Though part of the Pixma iP6000D series, the iP6220D shares little in common with its more expensive sibling, the iP6600D. It has a smaller LCD, a different printhead--2 picoliter droplets rather than 1--and uses two tricolor cartridges. Unless you're really cash strapped, the higher-price model is probably a better bet.
