The Archos 50c Oxygen. Archos

With a svelte all-black chassis and advanced Octo-core CPU courtesy of Mediatek, the Archos 50c Oxygen certainly looks like a compelling smartphone choice. The handset’s large HD resolution (1,280x720 pixels) display sounds nice, too, especially since it’s based on IPS LCD technology. The most alluring aspect of the Oxygen, however, is the device’s affordable 199.99 pound (unlocked) price.

Other features you’ll find in the Archos 50c Oxygen are Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS (sorry, not the latest version, called KitKat) and dual SIM card slots. Stay tuned for more details and my hands-on thoughts concerning the Oxygen, as I plan to wrap my mitts around this gadget at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.
