Short Bio: Retired nuclear scientist. Involved with computers, mainframes to micros, since early 60s; at that time mainly programming and physical interfacing to instruments. "My" first system was a SDS 910, 12 kB RAM (mag. core), speed 125 kHz, cost about 250 k$ (yes, those are all kilos)
Machine: 1: NoName 2.8 GHz P-4, single and RAID 1 drives. 2: NoName 400 MHz P-2. Laptop: Dell Inspiron 2200, 1.6 MHz P-M. Home Network: Cable modem, Wireless router, print server, Net Disk, KVM switch. Sr. Center: 12 networked systems (various) w/server.
