This retro toy combines elements of Tamagotchi, Polly Pocket
This pocket-size digital dollhouse has kids taking care of a Pixel Star as she plays, eats, sleeps and achieves her dreams.

Skyrocket's toy is called Pixel Stars Dreamhouse.
Skyrocket, a tech-savvy toy company, unveiled the Pixel Stars Dreamhouse at Toy Fair 2020. The $30 gadget is a pocket-size digital dollhouse that basically blends the concepts of '90s toys Polly Pocket and Tamagotchi. In the Pixel Stars Dreamhouse, the dolls, their accessories and furniture are all digital.
The palm-size toy has a 1.3-inch screen, and Skyrocket is planning to release the toy this fall, according to a Monday report from Engadget. You take care of your Pixel Star as she plays, eats, sleeps and achieves her dreams.
"Pixel Stars Dreamhouse takes the most popular trends in the kid space and brings them together in one digital world for ultimate fun for kids. Now kids can live out the life of a celebrity chef, PixelTube star or fashion blogger," John Ardell, co-founder of Skyrocket Toys, told CNET.
As you follow your Pixel Star's career, you can buy outfits and accessories and use in-game currency to build onto the digital house. In addition, your Pixel Star can have friends and pets.
The Pixel Stars Dreamhouse toy has a minimal four buttons to play the minigames.
The toy looks like a mini-Barbie Malibu beach house, with the front of the house sliding up and down to reveal the screen.
"It satisfies kids' desires to play digital content, but in a safe way that's reassuring to parents. No advertising or sharing of personal data or info is used in Pixel Stars Dreamhouse," Ardell said.
