To celebrate 20 years since the debut of the original PlayStation (yes it's been that long), Sony announced last week that 12,300 limited-edition consoles would be available for purchase, sporting the grey color from the original video game console.

Retailing for $500, the consoles ship in a special box that includes a console, DualShock 4 controller, PS Camera and vertical stand all decked out with the same 1994 aesthetic, complete with the rainbow "PS" logo.

Sony sold out of the consoles in just minutes and at least one has gone for $20,100 on eBay.
So while getting your hands on one of these sweet machines might be out of the question, we got a chance to get up close and personal with the highly sought-after console.
