Each week, we track the most popular ringtones.
Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" leaped from number 21 last week to the second spot on Billboard's ringtone chart. This is the largest single-week jump since I began following these charts. I know Beyonce did a remix of "Irreplaceable" with Ghostface Killah--maybe that's boosting the ringtone's popularity.
Unk's "2 Step" cracked the top five as well; it grabbed the no. 4 spot in its debut week. I was never a big fan of the crunk or Dirty South music, but Unk has grown on me. His music is undeniably danceable, and I like how he mixes the hyphy sounds in.
Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts The Most" has regained the top spot, and I'm sure their recent appearance on American Idol had something to do with that. Chris Brown's "Poppin'" was knocked out of the top spot, but had a soft landing at no. 3. And Buck Cherry's "Crazy B****" rounded out the top five.
You can read the rest of the chart here, and be sure to check out 50 Cent's "Candy Shop". It's fallen to the eighth spot, and hopefully the song is on the way off the list entirely
Star Wars: Episode 9 filming wraps: But where's that title? Director J.J. Abrams says the milestone "feels impossible."
Jeff Bezos just confirmed what we all knew: Nudes are no big deal: Commentary: The Amazon CEO says he's being blackmailed over nudes. But do I want to see tech tycoon dick pics? No thank you, Mr. Pecker.
